Listing Templates

(c) 2000-2007 Craig Dewick, One4Sun Auctions and Sun Ripened Kernels

If you're new to the Ebay experience and are interested in learning how to sell items on Ebay, the best thing to do is just look at how other sellers do it. Most people, once they become experienced enough, create templates for their listings, which are updated periodically as things change.

Nearly all sellers don't care if you copy their templates, providing you don't use any copyrighted or trademarked logos, symbols, etc. so you don't infringe on other seller's intellectual property rights.

You are welcome to view my current (as of February 2007) listing template and borrow ideas, etc. from it. If you have any specific questions, just ask!

[ Special Note: Late February 2007 - Ebay's new sell-your-item form does not allow directly uploading listing templates and it totally destroys used-prepared html formatting for cut-and-pasted template code with Mozilla Firefox used as the web client so I've decided to complete abandon using listing templates until Ebay's programmers get their act together !]

You can also view older listing templates:

  • - listing template from January 2007 to February 2007,
  • - listing template from May 2006 to December 2006,
  • - listing template from January 2005 to April 2006,
  • - listing template from December 2004 to January 2005,
  • - listing template from July 2004 to December 2004,
  • - listing template from March 2004 to June 2004,
  • - listing template from December 2003 to February 2004,
  • - listing template from September 2003 to November 2003,
  • - listing template from December 2002 to August 2003,
  • - previous templates have vanished into the ether! 8-)

Happy bidding!
