Hello and welcome to my Ebay trading home page, where I operate under the guise of Guru Will Sellit. If you're coming here from somewhere else (perhaps my About Me page on Ebay?), you might already know that I use the online trading services of Ebay for trading of computer hardware, particularly used gear made by Sun Microsystems, used Sun-compatible equipment, and other things.
I am located in Sydney, Australia and all items I sell through Ebay are priced in Australian dollars. No currencies other than Australian and US dollars are accepted for auction payments.
Please visit my Ebay scam and abuse page if you would like to know about fraudulent activities which have come to my attention through spam emails I received claiming to be from legit Ebay members, etc....
My real name is Craig Dewick, but my alias on Ebay is 'sunrk'. since this page is directly connected with my former commercial business operation at Sun Ripened Kernels. Please read the Terms and Conditions for my Ebay listings before bidding!

Facilitated payments via Paymate Express are accepted from winning bidders inside Australia, and other selected countries, for payment in Australian dollars.

Facilitated payments via PayPal are accepted from winning bidders outside Australia for payment in US dollars. I am also PayPal verified as a buyer. PayPal payments can be funded in a number of ways, including credit cards and bank accounts.
Unfortuantely, wire transfer and direct credit card payments can no longer be accepted due to Ebay Australia's prohibition on allowing sellers to pass on the unique costs of accepting these payment methods to buyers!
Once you have read my auction terms and conditions, check out my current auctions. Please visit my About Me page at Ebay which also lists my current auctions, or to read feedback left by other bidders.
If you're interested in looking at my listing template then feel free. I've got nothing at all to hide and you are welcome to copy the templates that I use to adapt for your own listings.
If you would like to convert any of my item prices to a currency other than Australian dollars, please skip down to my currency converter below...
A Brief Introduction
Through my involvement with workstations and related products and equipment made by and for Sun Microsystems I have set up The Sun Shack - an assortment of links to other handy sites and sources of Sun information. As an offshoot of this I've set up The Sun Shack Data Archive - a collection of pages containing otherwise unobtainable data, etc. about Sun equipment.
Some other places you'll want to check out are:
- - Bill Bradford's SunHelp.org site is another great source of information, but it's a lot more commercially-oriented that my Sun Shack page.
- - My own SunShack Sun Picture Archive is a growing collection of images of Sun hardware.
- - The HAL Sun Sparc Picture Archive is a good source for images of Sun hardware, especially more recent systems.
- - If you're looking specifically for pics of older Sun gear, go to the Old Suns Picture Archive to find them.
- From a commercial perspective, I owned and operated Sun Ripened Kernels, which was my Sun-surplus business based right here in Sydney, Australia. SRK was the only place in Australia that deals primarily in surplus and pre-loved IT equipment made by Sun Microsystems, along with compatible equipment from other vendors. Unfortunately due to changing marketplace conditions, coupled with a growing family, mortgage, etc. I closed down SRK as a commercial business at the end of 2006, though I still continue to trade on Ebay in a personal capacity.

I believe in protecting the environment. In practical terms this means I re-use packing materials wherever possible and recycle anything I can't. Selling pre-owned workstations and parts is in itself an environmentally friendly activity. Used computer equipment occupies valuable landfill space and is seldom properly recycled. This is especially true of systems that have short useful working lives and go out of date quickly, we call such systems Pocket Calculators (ie. PC's)! 8-)
If you're interested to know more about recycling, check out the Clean Up Australia website.
In addition to my keen interest in Sun hardware and Unix operation systems, another strongly internet-linked passion is Saab 'Classic' 900-series cars which were built between 1979 and 1993! I source almost all of the parts I need to maintain my Saab's through Ebay sellers located in the UK and the USA, along with being a dedicated member of the Saab Car Club of Australia.
